Hey!
I'm Chris.
Before I was a real estate agent, I was a photographer and a magazine editor. Before I was even driving, I was writing for the local newspaper. Throughout high school and college, I worked for newspapers and magazines—learning storytelling, photography, layout, and design long before I ever stepped into the real estate world.
My love for photography began more than 20 years ago in the darkroom at Wesleyan College, where I learned medium format film in the Murphey Arts Building. I later worked for a local photographer, continued refining my editing skills, and, after graduation, had the opportunity to attend an intimate workshop inside Ansel Adams' original darkroom in Yosemite.
Then came real estate.
For nearly 20 years, I've worked inside this industry and helped more than 350 families buy and sell homes. I've sat across the table from buyers and sellers, walked through countless properties, built presentations, marketed listings, negotiated contracts, and experienced firsthand what agents need from their marketing—not just what looks good on a page.
Throughout my own real estate career, I created and used custom presentation magazines with my clients. They weren't simply pretty leave-behinds. They helped me explain the process, answer questions, communicate my value, and give clients something tangible they could reference after our meeting.
I also began creating property-specific books that gave buyers more than a few photographs and an MLS printout. They could learn about the home, understand its features and upgrades, review important property information, and walk away with something designed to help them remember—and understand—the property.
That's where all the pieces of my background finally came together.
Real estate. Photography. Writing. Editorial design. Marketing.
Today, I use that experience to collaborate with real estate professionals to create custom presentation books, property magazines, buyer and seller guides, calendars, and other marketing pieces built around their business.
And collaborate is important.
I'm not interested in taking the same book and changing the logo and colors. I want to understand how you work, what you believe, what makes you different, who you're speaking to, and what you need the finished piece to accomplish. Then we build from there.
Because the goal isn't simply to create something beautiful.
It's to create something useful, intentional, and unmistakably yours.
That's the heart of Mountain Advisors Media.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of three kiddos—Callaway, Whitley, and Murphy—and wife of 18+ years to Josh, who has served in the fire/public safety service for over two decades. We share our home with our beloved golden retriever, Chief, two cats (Pearl and Lucky), two frogs, and a tortoise named Max. Originally from Middle Georgia, I now call my husband’s hometown home, where we raise our family among friends, faith, and fresh mountain air. We are a sports and theater family so much of my time is also 'ubering' my kiddos various places living their best life.
Just for Fun
I might have a list of dietary restrictions a mile long...
But sometimes the perfection of a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie wins anyway.
Apple ciders are my weakness—especially from Reece's Apple House. That’s my love language.
I’ve only recently learned to cook (and I’m still not convinced it’s for me).
I love to drive.
My dream ride? Probably a beautifully restored vintage Bronco, top down, music up.
Checked off the bucket list: swimming with manatees.
Next up: Banff, Alberta for our 20th wedding anniversary.
